Special walking and rambling maps, « Walks and rambles around Coutances » are available from all tourist offices in the Coutances area.

The 11 routes suggested in each map are an invitation for you to (re)discover areas of natural beauty as well as heritage sites.   Most routes do not exceed 10 km and are aimed at families, although they may often be combined to suit more experienced walkers.

Some circular walks are open to mountain bikers and horse-riders (maps available for the following areas: Coutances, Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin, Cerisy-la-Salle, Montmartin-sur-Mer, Saint-Malo-de-la-Lande, Périers and Lessay).
